Renters’ Rights Bill – moving closer!

Written by Martin Thomas

June 14, 2025

A date has been announced for the House of Lords Report Stage and it’s 1 July.  The Lords don’t appear to be especially at odds with the Commons so the third reading in the Lords is expected to take place the same day, before the bill returns to the House of Commons.

This could mean Royal assent being achieved, and the Bill becoming law, before the Commons goes into recess on 22 July.
