Greens, activists and unions call for rent control demo

According to a report in “Landlord Today” a host of tenants’ activist groups with a huge range of diversity, the Greens and trades unions from the public sector, are calling for a massive demo on 18 April to protest in favour of rent controls.  The usual suspects, such as Generation Rent, plan to be there, alongside such diverse groups as The National Education Union, The Palestinian Youth Movement, Migrants Organise, Bristol Fair Renting Campaign, Trans Action for Housing Justice, Homes For All, and the Lewisham People’s Assembly to name but seven.

One contributor to Landlord Today has asked “will there be a counter protest by ‘The Normal People With a Job Party?'”
