Prime Minister response to ALL Wessex appeal

Filed in Landlords by on 14th February, 2017 2 Comments

ALL Wessex recently sent a letter to the Prime Minister requesting that she reconsider the Government’s position with regard to the introduction of taxes that will impact Landlords withing the PRS.

Unfortunately the PM could not be bothered to answer the letter herself and forwarded it to the Treasury, the very people we are complaining about!  No surprise really, we got the standard response from the Treasury. Click here to read the Letter RespPM.

ALL Wessex appeals to the Prime Minister.

To date appeals to the Government’s Treasury and Local MP’s by ALL Wessex, ARLA, RLA, NLA, RICS, Tenant Tax, other landlords groups and individual landlords has made no impression on the introduction of the new capital gains tax,  increased stamp duty and lose of relief on mortgage interest.

It’s time to go above the head of the Treasury and hope for intervention from the Prime Minister.

I request that all our landlords lobby their own MP’s, even if you have done so before.

This will be our last opportunity to appeal before the April 2017 budget.  Click here to read Letter to PM ref PRS Tax v1
