Landlords’ Guide to Electrical Safety

Filed in Landlords by on 6th December, 2017 0 Comments

We are often contacted with questions relating to the safety of landlord supplied electrical appliances. The attached “landlords-guides-england_wales-2016” document has been produced specific to electrical safety in rented property and should contain answers to most questions.

For landlords who conduct their own Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) or those who wish to know more detail, the “Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment” should be referred to. The 4th Edition is currently (at time of writing) the latest code and is available to purchase from a number of on-line websites including Amazon UK.
