Important information for HMO landlords and investors in Bath.

Bath & North East Somerset Council (B&NES) appointed Ove Arup & Partners Ltd (ARUP) consultants to undertake a review of the existing the Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) to investigate various policy options to address the existing challenges of HMOs using case studies of policies implemented in other local authorities.

B&NES have received the ARUP report and the Council is currently considering their recommendations. ALL Wessex attended the workshop in November last year, B&NES would like us to share these findings and recommendations with you, B&NES would like to hear your views on the various options suggested. Your comments will help them revise the SPD which will be subject to a formal consultation in June and July.

A short informal consultation paper (please read and respond) and the full ARUP report is available by clicking here.
